Evaluation of the Psychological Status of Infertile Women

Background: The birth of progeny is one the most satisfying events. infertility major concerns modern world. Although there are variable physical causes but psychological stress considered as main infertility. Objective: fertility problem inventory was used to evaluate status infertile women. relationship between problems and characteristics also assessed. Study design: It a prospective questionnaire-based study conducted for duration year on women attended gynecology obstetrician department Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot. from June 2021 May 2022. Material Methods: A two-month prospective, quantitative, descriptive, undergoing therapy with approval institution's ethical committee. level were analyzed by Fertility Problem Inventory Questionnaire. Excel Microsoft tabulation data. collected data stratified statistical analysis. SPSS For categorical variables t-test performed. Results: average age twenty three patients included in 30 years. severe infertility-related observed almost 75% patients. other 25% suffering moderate stress. Conclusion: serious morbidity approximately two-third participants. Psychological evaluation taking could be consideration. Keywords: therapy.
